Medicare will not be providing you with free health care someday. It’s true the program covers the bulk of health care costs for people 65 or older or who have a disability. And there are programs to help cover the rest for those with very low incomes. But for most of us, be prepared to pay at least a few thousand dollars a year in out-of-pocket costs, not unlike what you paid when an employer provided your insurance. Precisely how much? That depends on your Medicare coverage choices, your health and in some cases where you live.
We work with firms that can provide you with answers to your Medicare questions. Reach out to us for help.
